Born and raised in Branford, Connecticut, Dr. Hillary Mendillo brings both compassion and adventure to her work in dentistry. A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, she first practiced alongside her father before expanding her reach through global dental outreach missions in places like Haiti, Jamaica, and South Africa.

Recently, Dr. Mendillo and her husband, Ben Hallgren; a Moultonborough native who tends bar at Waterville Valley in the winter and Owl’s Nest in the warmer months made New Hampshire their home. His daughter, Rosie, just started at Interlakes, and the family is excited to embrace new adventures on the beautiful lakes and in the great outdoors of the Granite State.

With a lifelong love for the ocean, Hillary has combined her passion for service and boating through her leadership in the Branford Yacht Club’s Take A Vet Fishing event, pairing veterans with local boaters for a memorable day on the water.

Outside the office, you’ll often find her skiing, paddle boarding, hiking, or enjoying live music, always up for a new adventure. Dr. Mendillo is thrilled to join the Interlakes team, where she looks forward to bringing her compassionate care and collaborative spirit to patients across New Hampshire.
